Join us!<br><br><b><span>Job Description:</span></b><br> </p><p><span>Credit Analyst II role for the Leveraged Acquisition Finance team, which advises, underwrites, and executes both broadly syndicated event-driven leveraged finance transactions and investments for Bank of America’s new $25 billion private credit investment strategy. </span></p><p><span>The Leveraged Acquisition Finance team is an integral part of the firm’s leveraged finance practice, partnering with leveraged finance origination and syndicate desks to structure and decision financings for corporate M&amp;A and LBOs.</span></p><p><span>Key responsibilities include financial modeling, fundamental credit analysis, deep due diligence, writing investment committee approval memos, and collaborating with key internal stakeholders such as risk, ratings, investment banking, and capital markets teams to successfully execute live deals.</span></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Responsibility for the underwriting, risk / reward analysis, negotiation, approval and closing of new transactions, while adhering to all relevant policies and procedures</li><li>Analyzes client's financial performance by comparing it to past performance, projections, and industry standards</li><li>Evaluates transaction and relationship risk-adjusted profitability to facilitate the allocation of capital</li><li>Builds granular multi-scenario LBO and DCF projection models based on historical performance, industry forecasts, and other due diligence findings</li><li>Conducts due diligence with Sponsor and Corporate clients</li><li>Creation of ad-hoc PowerPoint-based analyses in support of live deals and investments</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications </b></p><ul><li><span>1+ years</span> of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling within leveraged finance, capital markets, investment banking, private credit, private equity, or similar analytical environments</li><li>Hands-on experience building financial models, with the ability to explain key assumptions, outputs, and downside considerations to executive level leadership</li><li>Experience quantifying downside risk on a pro forma basis using financial statements, consulting reports, client projections, and transaction-level due diligence</li><li>Exposure to leveraged finance and private credit investing concepts, including cash flow analysis, leverage, and varied debt structures</li><li>Working knowledge of LBO modeling, including ability to do a bottoms-up build of a model, familiarity with structure, key drivers, and sensitivities</li><li>Able to efficiently work on multiple live deals simultaneously with minimal oversight</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Desired Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field</li><li>Prior experience with leveraged loan, acquisition financing, or private credit transactions</li><li>Experience working on live deals in investment banking, private credit, or capital markets</li><li>Experience conducting complex investment return analyses</li><li>Ability to independently navigate credit agreements and other relevant debt documents</li><li>Proficiency in explaining complex deal and debt‑related concepts clearly and concisely to stakeholders, and clients as necessary</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Analytical Thinking</li><li>Financial Analysis</li><li>Financial Forecasting and Modeling</li><li>Profitability Analysis</li><li>Research Analysis</li><li>Attention to Detail</li><li>Business Acumen</li><li>Credit and Risk Assessment</li><li>Underwriting</li><li>Written Communications</li><li>Collaboration</li><li>Critical Thinking</li><li>Prioritization</li></ul><p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: left;"><b>Shift:</b></p>1st shift (United States of America)<p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: left;"><b>Hours Per Week: </b></p>40<p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: left;"><b></b></p></div>
