line-height: 115%">Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of the Collins Scholar program for new faculty, including the development of classroom observation programs and the training of faculty peer observers and Student Consultants on Teaching (SCOTs).</span></p><p style="margin-left: 73pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 115%">Collaboratively develop, implement, and evaluate the Scholarship and Teaching for Engineering Postdocs (STEP) program for postdoctoral research associates to support their research, teaching, and employability; </span></span></span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 115%">Consult with Strategic Instructional Innovations Program (SIIP) teams annually and support project research, dissemination, and sustainability efforts.</span></p><p style="margin-left: 37pt; </span></span></span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 115%">Develop and assess peer observation and mentoring program for Engineering Learning Assistants (ELAs) in the Grainger First-Year Experience (GFX) program and train new ELAs in the ENG 377 course (to prepare them for ENG 100 and 101 courses).</span></p><p style="margin-left: 37pt; line-height: 115%">Minimum Qualifications:</span></b></p><ol start="1" style="margin-top: 0"><li><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 115%">Master's degree in education, educational psychology, or the humanities such as history, political science, literature, journalism, communications, or philosophy<br> AND<br> <b><u>Six (6) months</u></b>&nbsp;of experience which included any of the following areas professional writing or editing, audiovisual design and/or production, design and/or production of evaluation tools, educational programming, curriculum development, or classroom teaching<br> OR</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 115%">Baccalaureate degree in education, educational psychology, or the humanities<br> AND<br> <b><u>Eighteen (18) months</u></b>&nbsp;of experience which included any of the following areas professional writing or editing, audiovisual design and/or production, design and/or production of evaluation tools, educational programming, curriculum development, or classroom teaching</span></li></ol><p><b><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 115%">Preferred Qualifications:</span></b></p><ul type="disc" style="margin-top: 0"><li><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 115%">Ph.D or Ed.D. in engineering, STEM education, education, or other closely related field.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 115%">A total of three (3) years (36 months) in education, training and/or work experience in engineering, STEM education, education, or other closely related field.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 115%">Experience in faculty instructional developmental programs.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 115%">Experience with learning analytics, institutional assessment processes, or program evaluation.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 11pt; The expected start date is as soon as possible after the closing date. The budgeted salary range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
