The co-op also participates in the PALM-AI project with the objective to automate literature search, analysis and reporting writing by using the latest AI technologies, such as large language models and reinforcement learning.</p><p></p><h2><b>Key Responsibilities</b>:</h2><ul><li><p>Work under the CDTs in the execution of specific tasks and projects in the oncology portfolio related to clinical studies and strategic activities.</p></li><li><p>Work with the Clinical Leaders and Clinical Scientists on clinical trial concept and protocol development, execute clinical studies for post-approval commitments and new indications.</p></li><li><p>Be actively involved in creation of Clinical Study Reports, publication of clinical research findings, and presentations to relevant Health Authorities, advisory committees, and review meetings.</p></li><li><p>Participate in PALM-AI project by evaluating related latest AI technologies and contributing to the progress of the project.</p></li></ul><h1></h1><h1>Qualifications</h1><h2><b>Education:</b></h2><p>You are enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or biological sciences related fields.</p><p><b> </b></p><h2><b>Experience and Skills:</b></h2><h2>Required:</h2><ul><li><p>You are passionate about science & operational excellence.</p></li><li><p>You have the latest knowledge and experience in AI, especially in large language models.</p></li><li><p>You have strong problem-solving skills for developing innovative solutions and meeting project objectives.</p></li><li><p>You have demonstrated the ability of critical thinking and prioritization with respect to project objectives.</p></li><li><p>You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency.</p></li><li><p>You possess good communication and interpersonal skills and can work effectively in a team environment.</p></li><li><p>You are proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other commonly used software tools.</p></li></ul><h2></h2><h2><b>Preferred</b>:</h2><ul><li><p>Demonstrated leadership experience is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Additional technical proficiencies in SharePoint and other information technology systems are highly desirable, including experience with PubMed, EMBASE, and other literature databases.</p></li><li><p>We strongly prefer a minimum G.P.A. of 3.7.</p></li></ul><h2><b>Other:</b></h2><ul><li><p>Daily commute to Titusville Campus, New Jersey, expected.</p></li><li><p>Availability to work Full Time and for the total duration of the role (~6 months) is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Being legally authorized to work in the United States and not requiring sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future is required.</p></li></ul><p></p><div><div><div><p><span>Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year.
