Service Technician Trainee

We strive to create a positive and fun atmosphere where our Team Members feel valued and are enthusiastic about the contributions they make to the success of Leslie's.</p><p><strong>Job Overview: </strong></p><p>As a Field Service Technician, you will play a key role in leading exceptional pool service delivery to our customers. You’ll work outdoors at residential and commercial locations, bringing the pool industry to life through hands-on support, including sales, installations, and repairs of pool equipment. All Service Technicians are provided with trucks, uniforms, and comprehensive training to set you up for success.</p><p><strong>Starting Training Pay:</strong> $20.00 / Hourly | <strong>Potential Earnings:</strong> $60,000–$100,000+ per year </p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform sales, installation, and repair of swimming pool equipment for residential and commercial customers</li><li>Interact directly with customers to provide service, product recommendations, and general guidance</li><li>Maintain high standards of customer service, professionalism, and ethical conduct</li><li>Comply with all company safety procedures, including safe work practices and driving habits</li><li>Partner with Service Managers to ensure company guidelines, policies, and procedures are met or exceeded</li><li>Install, troubleshoot, and repair gas and electrical pool heaters</li><li>Diagnose and repair motors, filters, timers, pool cleaners, blowers, lighting, automated pool systems, chlorinators, and backwash valves</li><li>Perform PVC, copper, and galvanized plumbing repairs and installations</li><li>Troubleshoot suction, priming, and high-/low-pressure system issues</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)</li><li>Ability to pass a drug screen and background check</li><li>Working knowledge of general plumbing and/or electrical systems</li><li>Basic knowledge of using a multimeter and making electrical connections</li></ul><p><strong>We offer our employees competitive compensation,</strong> extensive paid training, comprehensive and flexible suite of benefits package, 401K with company match, team member discounts, rewards for top performers, and most importantly career advancement opportunities.</p><p><strong>Leslie’s recognizes a critical component to our continued success is our people. </strong> Leslie’s is proud to have a culture of inclusion that seeks to celebrate and embrace the different backgrounds and perspectives that help drive our success and support team members in developing and growing with us.
