Anesthesiologist
The Staff Physician may have teaching opportunities due to our association with Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (OSUCOM) and the Oklahoma University of Oklahoma College of Medicine (OUCOM) program. Qualified applicants will have an MD/DO, current medical license, and be board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology. The staff Anesthesiologist is the bread and butter of the Surgery department. They cover general surgery, orthopedics, knee, and shoulder arthroplasty, ophthalmology, and urology. Vascular cases. No heart, neurology, or trauma. Work with a strong core of CRNAs. 90% supervision and 10% doing your own cases.
Qualifications & Requirements
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Backup call from home with the goal of Q3. In 2023, the anesthesiologist has not been called to the hospital while on backup call.)·
-Must be a U.S. Citizen -Non-citizens will be considered if unable to find a US citizen.
-Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S.·
-Board Certification in Anesthesiology. Board Eligibility may also be considered.
